The Caldwell School District is the 15th largest school district in Idaho serving more than 5,300 students, preschool through 12th-grade, in its two high schools, two middle schools, and five elementary schools.
We are a state leader in providing quality early-education in Idaho. We partner with local community organizations to provide early childhood education services to students. We also offer free full-day kindergarten.
Caldwell School District students lead in accessing courses that allow them to earn college credit through advanced placement and dual credit courses. Students also explore high-quality career technical education programs which include: agriculture, automotive, business, technology, engineering, family consumer science, health occupations, and welding.
Dual Credit
Thanks to partnerships with Boise State University, Idaho State University, University of Idaho, Northwest Nazarene University, College of Western Idaho, and Treasure Valley Community College, we offer more than 20 courses for college credit including: Biology, Human Anatomy & Physiology, Introduction to Public Speaking, American National Politics, English 101, Introduction to Literary Genres, Introduction to French, Intermediate French, College Algebra & Trigonometry, Introduction to Statistics, Essentials of Chemistry, Introduction to Engineering, Engineering Graphics and Design, Elementary Spanish I & II, Intermediate Spanish I, Intermediate Spanish for the Native or Near-Native Speaker, Personal Finance, Introduction to Business, Math in Modern Society, College Algebra, High School of Business, Principles of Marketing AP U.S. History
Advanced Placement
We are constantly growing our Advanced Placement (AP) offerings. These courses prepare students to take AP tests and depending on their score earn college credit. Offerings include: Statistics, Chemistry, U.S. History, English Language & Composition; English Literature & Composition, Calculus AB, Calculus BC, Physic 1, Human Geography, Biology, StudioArt 2-D Design, and Student Art Drawing.

Caldwell is home to the College of Idaho and branches of Treasure Valley Community College and College of Western Idaho and CSD enjoys partnerships with these higher education institutions as well as others in the Treasure Valley.
Extracurricular activities
Caldwell schools provide a comprehensive offering of clubs, extracurricular activities, fine arts performing groups, and sports. The Boys Varsity Soccer Team won the 4A State Soccer Championship in 2022, 2019, and 2018, and the Women's Varsity Soccer Team won the 2021 4A State Soccer Sportsmanship Award. The Men's Wrestling Team won the 2023 State Wrestling Runner-Up.
