SUPERINTENDENT’S REPORT
Dr. French applauded Caldwell High School’s Theatre Team for their recent success competing at Districts and State Drama. Eight students qualified for State, Hailey Shepard, Rachel Noonan, Gabe Lamkins, Saphron Garza, Samantha Worthen, Rylyee Cameron, Remmy Johnatakis, and Brandon Bake. Every student placed in the top 15 or higher in their respective categories. In addition, Lewis & Clark Elementary received a compliment from a visiting school about their kindness, professionalism, and remarkable school environment.
Caldwell High School Report - Nic Mendez, Student Representative from Caldwell High School, provided Trustees with an update on academics, athletics, and activities.
Canyon Springs High School - Charlotte Rodriguez, Student Representative from Canyon Springs High School, shared information about the schools Sources of Strength training, Idaho Launch workshop, and door decorating. This will be Charlotte's last Board Meeting as she will be graduating later this month. Trustees presented her with a plaque to honor her for her hard work.

REGULAR AGENDA
- Threat Zero - Trustees heard from Mr. Doug Hart, founder and Chief Safety Officer, of Threat Zero. Threat Zero focuses on preventative measures in schools to keep violent incidents from ever occurring in the first place.
- School Modernization Fund - Trustees heard from Bernie Carreira, Director of Maintenance, about the Districts ten year Plant Faculty Plan and Schedule. Board Members voted to approve the use of the $20 million in State School Modernization Fund.
- Service Agreement Eagle Eye - Addendum - Trustees voted to approve the Addendum for the Eagle Eye Service Agreement.
- Date & Location for the Annual Meeting - The District is working to make the Poplar Building ready to hold upcoming board meetings. After discussion, Trustees voted to hold the Annual and Regular Board Meeting at the old District Office location, 1502 Fillmore St. Caldwell, ID, at 7 pm on Monday, January 13, 2025.
- SRO Contract with Caldwell Police Department - Trustees voted to approve the SRO Contract with the Caldwell Police Department.
- Board Work Session December 23 - Board Members voted to cancel the Board Work Session Meeting on December 23, 2024, unless extenuating circumstances arise.
