Rotary District 5400 is currently accepting scholarship applications for the 2018-2019 academic year.  This scholarship will benefit a college freshman in the 2018-2019 year.  (The candidate should be preparing to start college in the fall of 2018.)  The freshman recipient may, under the terms and conditions of the grant, be eligible to continue to receive the scholarship for up to 3 additional years.  MaKia Perez of Rigby was awarded the scholarship in 2015-2016 which was the first year of the award.  Addie White of Boise received the award in 2016-2017 and Drake Heubach received the award for the 2017-2018 year.  All three have been notified that they may continue on with their scholarship as long as they continue to meet the guidelines.

The completed applications much be received on or before September 1, 2018.  The application must be submitted using the scholarship application that is in the link below.  Scholarship instructions, eligibility requirements, and restrictions are outlined on the scholarship application.  The District 5400 Scholarship Committee, comprised of members throughout the District, will review the candidates and make a final selection no later than October 1, 2018.
