Big news for Caldwell teachers this morning!  Many of you are concerned about what your students are doing during their Chromebook worktime and have expressed interest in being able to monitor the sites that your students visit so that you can steer them towards productive worktime.  As of this week, all Caldwell teachers should have access to a program called GoGuardian that allows you to take a peek at each of your students' virtual workspaces while they are using a Caldwell Chromebook.  You can see what tabs they have open, monitor how often they are idle or engaged on those tabs, and even chat with them about their work in those tabs.  This program does NOT use the Chromebook camera and you will not be able to see the student or see into their homes but you will be able to take a look at their digital workspace in Chrome.  Our GoGuardian access will be connected to and synced with our Clever class rosters so please be sure to follow the attached directions to get access to your GoGuardian classes.  Here are some quick start user tips for taking advantage of this safe student learning tool!
