Parent teacher conferences are coming and many of our students come from homes where English is not their primary language.  This makes effective communication with parents/guardians a little complicated, especially at parent teacher conference time!

Since there is a good chance that we will still be in the YELLOW hybrid model at the end of October when Parent Teacher Conferences are scheduled, many buildings are starting to brainstorm ways to hold virtual conferences using Google Meets as a tool.  Google Meet has a built-in translating feature that works with the Chat box and with closed captioning (CC).  The following instructions are for parents who might want or need to use this tool in a Meet setting.  The last portion of the slide deck is in Spanish.
