The Idaho State Department of Education offers a tool for the public to explore how districts with similar characteristic to compare performance on key indicators: math proficiency, math growth, English language arts proficiency, English language arts growth, English learner progress, and graduation.. Using this tool the public can make apples-to-apples comparisons.

 

Based on the % of students qualifying for free or reduced lunch, % of students learning English, and the % of students qualifying for special education, this tool compares Caldwell to similar districts which are Payette, Jerome, Minidoka County, and Wilder. The charts below show our growth and proficiency in English language and math and in our English learners in mastering a second language compared to our similar counterparts. The data are from 2018 and will be updated soon with data from 2019.
