Title III - Limited English Proficiency

The purpose of the Title III program is to ensure that limited English proficient (LEP) students, including immigrant children and youth, develop English proficiency and meet the same academic content and academic achievement standards that other children are expected to meet. Caldwell School District uses Title III funds to implement language instruction educational programs designed to help Limited English Proficient students achieve State academic content and academic achievement standards established for all children.
Caldwell School District’s goal is to help LEP students who remain in our program for three years to increase their English proficiency and core academic content.

To learn more about the Limited English Proficiency program, please visit the State Department of Education web site.

If you have specific questions, please contact your child's school or the Director of Federal Projects, District Office, (208) 455-3300.
